Scringo integration in iOS apps and functionality and advantage

 

Scringo provides a great platform to  the users to add friends, to chat with them, to message them.  Scringo allows users to post activities and can see friends activities. Scringo is very good library to integrate in the app. Without effecting the app functionality, users can use Scringo in the app.

Integrating Scringo in iOS App

Scringo can be easily integrated to the iOS app with very few number of steps.

Create App

For using scringo services , you need to create an app on your scringo account. You can create your account here https://dev.scringo.com/ .

Add the app icon here and click “Done” .

You can download the SDK from here. But we will do it later. Click “Edit your App“.

Click on “Basic Info“. Here you can see there is a App ID .Copy the app id , you will need it later.

Download SDK

You can download the  Scringo SDK from here.You can download Facebook SDK  from here. (After installing  facebook.pkg FacebookSDK folder will be created in documents). Put both the SDK in the project.

Adding SDK 

Drag and drop Scringo folder to the project . Check “Create groups for any added folders”.

Drag and drop FacebookSDK.framework inside FacebookSDK . Check “Create groups for any added folders”.

Add Frameworks

In XCode, click on project: Targets -> Your App Name -> Build Phase -> Link Binary With Libraries. Now add these frameworks:-

  1. CoreGraphics.framework
  2. CoreText.framework
  3. MapKit.framework
  4. UIKit.framework

Working With Code

Now open your project and add header file to AppDelegate.m class file.

#import <Scringo/Scringo.h>

Add the following code to enable Scringo in your app. It will open you the menu of Scringo that means Scringo is integrated in your app.

     [Scringo initWithAppId:@"TEST_APP" completion:^{
